As it rings in the new year, Miles Chemical Company—with facilities throughout California—is celebrating its 30th anniversary and announcing two key leadership changes.
The company announced the promotion of Dan Zinman to Chief Commercial Officer and the hiring of Daniel Bredeweg as Sales Support Manager.
Founder and President Anthony Miles continues to position the company for sustained growth, including market expansion and operational efficiency improvements to enhance the customer experience.
Dan Zinman joined Miles Chemical 20 years ago, starting as Sales Manager and advancing to Vice President of Sales & Marketing. In announcing the promotion, Anthony Miles stated: “Dan and I go back to before Miles Chemical—he as a supplier and I as a distributor. Since then, I’ve seen him manage sales and technical service teams while building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry associations. He will continue spending time in the field while strategically positioning our legacy business in today’s evolving market.”
Miles added, “I also want to bring in new talent and develop skills for the future. That’s why we’re welcoming Daniel Bredeweg, whom I’ve known for some time, as our Sales Support Manager.”
Daniel BredewegBredeweg, formerly Western Regional Sales Manager with Univar’s Mini Bulk Division, will report to Zinman. He will initially take on Technical Service Representative responsibilities, allowing him to assist on the technical side while deepening his knowledge of the business.
“These are exciting changes and an important part of our overall growth plan,” Miles says.
