The Texas Association of Metal Finishers will hold its first Technical Conference on October 20-21 in Galveston Island, Texas.
John SullivanThe conference will be held at Moody Gardens Resort. The event starts Oct. 20 with an optional golf outing. The 3 p.m. shotgun start costs $75 per person for nine holes, which includes the greens fee, cart fee, and range balls. There will be prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin.
A Kickoff Social event is the evening of Oct. 20 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. with an open bar and hors d’oeuvres.
A Coffee and Donuts with the TAMF President, John Sullivan, is on Oct. 21 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the technical conference starts at 10 a.m. There will be presentations on PFAS, compliance, insurance insights, electroless nickel best practices, and waste haul-off.
Vince NoonanThe keynote speaker at that evening’s dinner at 7 p.m. is Vincent Noonan, CEF, the Vice President of Strategic Operations at Sheffield Platers in San Diego, California.
More than 15 tabletop exhibitors will be on hand. Registration is $195 and includes sessions, the kickoff social, coffee/donuts, lunch, and the keynote dinner. Guest and spouse fees are $95.
